For every command line tool or workflow that approval workflows are enabled for in your account, you can now decide which users or groups of users can respond to approval requests.

To restrict who can respond to approval requests, visit the Settings tab for any CLI program within your Cased account.

Examples

Here are some example scenarios where restricting who can respond to approval requests may make sense for your organization:

  • Members of the database team are the only group of users in your organization who should be able to respond to approval requests for production access to MySQL or Postgres.
  • Only Managers and Erin the CEO of Awesome Corp. can respond to approval requests for accessing financial reports.
  • Legal is required to approve all data export requests within the organization.
  • The customer support team needs to approve all user impersonation requests.
